This morning Rachel Ryder gave away a Family 4-Pack of tickets to the Unity Christian Music Festival. Congratulations to our winner, Brian from Jonesville. Listen in tomorrow for Rachel’s interview with Sidewalk Prophets around 7:30, plus your last chance to win tickets on the air for the festival.

Rachel also talked about a time capsule of sorts unearthed in Brittan. Check out these amazing photos of an old subway tunnel that had been boarded up since 1959, left mainly in tact.

This morning Rachel Ryder gave some advice for extreme temperature days. Today's heat index will make it feel like 100, so take these cautions:

1. Dress with lightweight and light-colored clothing to stay cool
2. Stay as cool as possible
3. Check on friends/relatives who don't have air conditioning
4. Double-check your car's coolant and other heat-related aspects
5. Drink lots of water/fluids

She also talked about some changes coming down the line for how we Tweet and how Twitter is improving the process. You can follow 89.3 the Message on Twitter for updates @893theMessage
