This morning Rachel Ryder talked with Vicki Rakowski from the American Cancer Society. TODAY is the 100th birthday of the organization, and they're celebrating by sharing 100 stories of hope over the next 100 days!

It’s National Emerald Ash Borer Awareness Week and the Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development is urging travelers to leave their firewood at home and burn it where they buy it.

You know all of that vaccuum packed space food? It could soon be replaced by the use of a 3D food printer, even making it possible for NASA astronauts to print out foods layer by layer like pizza, using powdered chemicals and oils. NASA's $125,000 grant made the research and soon-to-be production possible. Watch it print out a chocolate treat below.

Rachel Ryder always thought that a pizza place who delivers customers both a pizza and a movie on DVD would be a really great combo. She'd call it Pizza-Video. Here's the closest comparison she's seen so far. A DVD place that gives their DVDs a pizza scent and imprints pizza advertisements on their movies.

Today is a day of pain for many in Oklahoma. For some, it's not having answers to where friends and relatives are, and what they'll do now that the tornado has taken their home. Pray for peace and hope. You can help through the Red Cross and Salvation Army.

Governor Rick Snyder has issued a proclamation designating Wednesday, May 22, 2013 as The American Cancer Society Day in Michigan. It’s in celebration of the American Cancer Society's 100th birthday! Yesterday, YouTube celebrated 8 years of online video. There is now over 100 hours of video uploaded to the video site every single minute! That's a lot to watch!

Many families in Oklahome and areas of Kansas were displaced by tornadoes this weekend. Pray for them to get the help they need and to be able to find hope.

There's been an announcement of a new event taking place this summer. Find out more about the upcoming Falling Waters Festival, planned for July 19-20. Also in the news, there's talk in the state about adopting some revised fireworks laws where time limits ensure blasts won't go off at certain times of the night.

One 5-year old boy was able to save his dad's life because he knew his ABC's. He called his grandma and spelled out F-U-R-N-I-T-U-R-E, and she was able to get responders to the place where they needed medical attention.
