This morning Rachel Ryder reminded us that today is the last day for Michigan residents to be counted in the 2010 Census. Residents who did not mail back a form or have not been contacted by a census enumerator are encouraged to call 1-866-872-6868 to ensure they are included in the 2010 Census. This telephone assistance line will close at 9 p.m. Friday, July 30.

Rachel also talked with Bruce Inocensio about the Jackson Legacy Scholarship, and what opportunities are available for high school students from Jackson staying in the area for college. Details here.

This morning Rachel Ryder gave away a Family 4-Pack of tickets to the Unity Christian Music Festival. Congratulations to our winner, Brian from Jonesville. Listen in tomorrow for Rachel’s interview with Sidewalk Prophets around 7:30, plus your last chance to win tickets on the air for the festival.

Rachel also talked about a time capsule of sorts unearthed in Brittan. Check out these amazing photos of an old subway tunnel that had been boarded up since 1959, left mainly in tact.
