A new, not-for-profit outdoor farmer's market located on the Allegiance Health campus will provide community members with fresh, natural foods this summer. The Green Market of Jackson will be open every Wednesday, from 2:30 to 6:30pm, at the corner of State St. and E. Michigan Ave. Beginning with the Grand Opening on Wednesday, May 26, the weekly market will run through October.

All foods sold at the Green Market will be grown in Michigan. They'll be produced through sustainable farming methods that are healthier for you and the environment. Everything will be grown with little or no pesticides, herbicides, inorganic fertilizers or antibiotics - which also means less pollution in our rivers and lakes. None of the produce will be imported from other states or countries.
