The Hot Air Jubilee is coming to the Jackson County Airport on July 16, 17 & 18, 2010!
An exciting new attraction will be joining the lineup at this year’s event, scheduled for July 16-18 at Jackson County Airport. Performers from Forms in Motion will dazzle audiences with circus-style acrobatic acts done with theatrical flair.
In addition to spectacular balloon launches (weather permitting), plenty of fan-favorite activities will fill the airport grounds, including Kids’ Kingdom, Laura the elephant, an aerial pyrotechnics event featuring vintage aircraft, an arts and crafts show, a car show and much more. Anyone interested in participating in the arts and crafts show or the car show is encouraged to contact the Jubilee office as soon as possible. Organizers are also looking for more vendors.
Parking is free and gates open at 4 p.m. on Friday and 6 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Adult tickets are $8 before July 14 and $10 at the gate.
This summer, admission to the Jackson Hot Air Jubilee will be FREE for children 12 years old and younger. The Jubilee Board took this step in recognition of the serious impact that our state’s economic challenges have had on the people of our community.

Hot Air Jubilee
The Hot Air Jubilee is a three-day annual festival founded in 1983 by a local balloon pilot. The event has grown to be one of the largest festivals in Michigan. The Jubilee has been voted “Favorite Community Event” by readers of Jackson Magazine three times – 2000, 2003 and 2010. The Hot Air Jubilee is a 501 (c ) (3) charitable non-profit organization composed of an all-volunteer 7-member Board of Directors and a core group of approximately 35 other volunteers. In addition to providing an affordable, fun-filled weekend for families, the Jubilee supports the Jackson area in many ways. Local civic groups and other non-profit organizations are compensated for their assistance in selling admission wristbands. Donations have been made to the Jackson Community College Flight Center, the Experimental Aircraft Association and the Jackson County Airport for the use of their facilities. The Hot Air Jubilee also supports local businesses by purchasing everything possible for the event in Jackson County. Visit our Web site at www.hotairjubilee.com
