Come to Foster Care info meetings at Lutheran Social Services in Kalamazoo
The Kalamazoo office of Lutheran Social Services of Michigan, 1803 Whites Rd., Suite 5, Kalamazoo, MI 49008, invites single adults and couples to come and learn about becoming a foster parent. A Foster Care Interest Meeting is scheduled at 6-8 p.m. on Monday, November 15. Meetings on other weekdays, including daytime meetings, can be scheduled based upon interest. Come hear about the need for more foster homes for foster children, ages 0 to 17, especially youth and sibling groups. There are 16,000 children in foster care, who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect, and they need someone to be there for them. You can be that someone for a hurting child.
