Leadership Academy Alumni Meeting - Jackson

The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce will host four Leadership Academy Alumni meetings in 2010. The meeting dates are below:

June 3, 2010
Sept. 2, 2010
Dec. 2, 2010

The meetings will be held at the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce office building located at 141 S. Jackson St. from 7:30 to 8:30 am.

The mission of the Alumni Association will be to assist the Chamber of Commerce in updating the past graduate information, to create ideas/leads/recommendations of businesses and/or individuals interested in sending participants to the academy, offer ideas on presenters for the current leadership academy curriculum, become mentors for the current leadership academy class and help them network, assist non-profits on filling vacant board of director’s seats and vacant committee seats.

The Leadership Academy is designed to enhance leadership skills for individual growth, organizational improvement and increased community effectiveness. The Leadership Academy has been taking place since 1982, so any past graduate is welcome to attend.

Join us in 2010 at 7:30 am at the Chamber of Commerce to reunite and reminisce with the more than 700 past leadership academy graduates.
