“Call-2-Fall” asks American Christians and churches to fall on their knees in prayer this summer. The effort is being spearheaded by the Family Research Council.

Other Christian leaders are joining with the FRC to ask churches to set aside a few minutes for special prayer during their Sunday service on July 5. Congregations are being asked to offer prayers of repentance and to pray for the nation.

The FRC says the Call-2-Fall campaign is in response to Second Chronicles 7:14, which says, "If my my people, who are called by My Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
